Medical device ce. Self -adhesive occlusor used in the orthoptical therapies of Amblyopia and strabismo. • Support in non -woven fabric 100% colored cotton that allows skin breathability, avoids the problem of sweating and offers high comfort. The shape of the occlusor adapts optimally to the anatomy of the periocular area. • Central buffer composed of a very thin trilaminated material inside which there is a photo -absorbing black screen that avoids the filtration of the light from the outside. • Shape: the shape of the patch is elongated in the area of adhesion to the nasal saddle and allows the correct portability of the glasses simultaneously to the occlusor. The glasses is well aligned, avoiding out of focus and discomfort for the patient. The elongated shape of the patch avoids the lateral filtration of the light. This attribute of Ortopad prevents the anomalous movement of the eye muscles which can determine a worsening of the pathology. The engravings in the area of adhesion to the nasal septum effectively prevent the formation of grinze on the patch which could determine a premature detachment of the occlusor and a reduction in comfort during vegetable therapy.
